Are you the one who send us the tax refunds obtained?

No way. Alisa Refunds never receives the refund amounts owed to you. These will always be sent to you directly by the government(s) concerned.

Will I have to provide you with my tax documents from the last ten (10) years?

No. When opening your file with Alisa Refunds, we will send you by regular mail depending on your province of residence one (1) or two (2) limited authorization form(s) allowing us to access your tax file. We will thus be able to access your tax returns for the last ten (10) years (federal and provincial)…

Will I need to come to your office?

No. No visit to our office is necessary because all interactions with our customers are done by telephone contact and regular mail. However, although it is not necessary, you are always welcome if you would like to meet us in person. Our office is located in Ste-Thérèse, Québec.

Will I have to pay you fees for future years?

No, our fees only apply to previous years and the current year. For future years, you will continue to benefit from our work either by saving on the tax payable or by continuing to receive additional credits.

Do I have to pay tax on amounts received through your services?

No, the amounts you will receive as a result of our work are non-taxable.

Will the amounts I receive be added to my income?

No, the amounts obtained come from deductions and additional tax credits which are granted to you retroactively. They are not added to your income and do not change anything about your previous income or even the current year.

Are your fees already deducted from the reimbursements I will receive?

No. First, you will receive 100% of the refunds owed to you as a result of our work. Subsequently, we will send you an invoice representing 20% of the amounts received. Under no circumstances do we receive your refunds.

I already receive certain credits relating to my medical condition. Will I have to pay you fees on these amounts?

No. You will be charged fees only on new credits and/or additional deductions that we obtain for you and not on what you already receive.

How many years can you go back to claim the amounts to which I am entitled?

Current tax laws allow us to obtain retroactive tax credits or retroactive tax deductions for the last ten (10) years. For example, for a file opened in 2024, we can go back to 2014.

Will I need to get documents filled by my doctor?

It depends on your situation. In some cases, the government has already recognized a person’s medical condition. If this is the case, no forms need to be filled out by the doctor or qualified practitioner. If not, we will provide you with the required forms so you can discuss them and get them filled during…
